Moroccan Black Garlic Burger
Serving size: 3
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes

Bold, complex, luxurious, these burgers check a lot of boxes. I've always been a fan of adding ingredients directly into the ground meat of a burger. For this particular burger we'll be adding not one, not two, but three ingredients into the meat: black garlic, minced garlic, and Moroccan Black Garlic hot sauce.
To begin, gather 6 cloves of regular garlic, 3 cloves of black garlic (available for purchase here), 1/2 lb of ground beef, 1/2 lb of ground lamb, and a bottle of Moroccan Black Garlic hot sauce. Mince the black garlic, and regular garlic, add these to the bowl with the meat. Add half of the bottle of hot sauce to the meat, mix thoroughly.
Split the meat mixture into three equal parts, roll into balls. Pound each ball into a burger, taking care to bury any chunks of black garlic that are either near the surface, or the edge of the burger. This will help keep the burger together when cooking. Add a pinch or two of salt and pepper to each side of the burger. Lightly oil a cast iron and heat it on a medium/high heat.
Cook each burger for 1:45 - 2 minutes per side. Cut up tomato, red onion, and lettuce for topping.
Gather your toppings, burger, bun, tsatsiki sauce, hot sauce, and feta cheese. To one side, add the burger, lettuce, tomato, onion and feta cheese. With a knife spread tsatsiki sauce on the top bun, on top of that add your hot sauce. Slap it all together and serve with your choice of potato product, we went with crinkle cut fries, no regrets.
